We give grants of money to charitable organisations.
Greengib Foundation is a private ancillary fund. We do not run our own programs. We resource the charities that do.
Who we fund
Registered charities, doing the work already.
As a private ancillary fund, Greengib Foundation makes grants to eligible charitable organisations. In practice, we look first to deductible gift recipients whose work sits inside our program areas.
We do not make grants to individuals. We do not fund political parties. A grant is a decision, made with care, for a defined piece of work.
How to enquire

See if the work aligns
Read our program areas. We fund animal welfare, climate and environment, community services, and civic participation.

Write a short outline
Tell us who you are, your ABN and charity status, what you do, and how a grant would be used.

We read every approach
There is no public portal and no published round. Approaches are considered as they arrive.
What to include in a letter
- The legal name of your organisation, ABN, and ACNC registration (or equivalent).
- Whether you are endorsed as a deductible gift recipient.
- A short account of your work and the community or place it serves.
- The program area you believe the work sits in, and why.
- What a grant would be used for, and over what period.
- A named contact, with email and telephone.
